The Executive Board & Presidents

The Board and Presidents of Wharton China Business Society make up only a small sample of the leadership in the organization. They are responsible for the management and oversight of WCBS programs, involvements, and affairs. Detailed information on the individuals that make up the Board and Presidents are below.

The Board

The Board consists of eight individuals whose main responsiblity is to oversee the general involvement and affairs of the Wharton China Business Society. Look below to meet the 2010-2011 Board members.

Whitney Fang - Chairman

Whitney is a senior in Wharton concentrating in Finance and Marketing. In the past, she was a part of the Summer Program in WCBS. She is from the awesome town of Plano, Texas, and in her free time, Whitney likes to watch football and drink strawberry lemonade.

Jacqueline Chang - Vice-Chair and Treasurer

Jackie is a senior pursuing a degree from the Wharton School and a Music degree from the College of Arts and Sciences. Before the academic year begins, she enjoys her role as a PennArts leader, introducing freshmen to the Philly and Penn arts scene before the chaos of NSO and college life take over. She also loves playing the cello in Penn Chamber and currently serves as the finance manager for Harnwell College House. She is looking forward to a great year with her Co-President Karen and the Spring Tour members this year!

Karen Cao - Graphics Design

Karen Cao is a seniorin a dual degree program with Wharton and Engineering. She plans to concentrate in Finance and Marketing & Operations Management and major in Bioengineering. She has been involved in a variety of position within WCBS since her freshman year and is also involved in research, Wharton Asia Business Conference, and Art Club

Krishna Kaliannan - Strategic Initiatives

Krishna is currently a junior in the M&T program at Penn studying statistics and finance in Wharton, Systems Engineering in SEAS, and Math in the College. He is also the VP of the Professional Committee in M&T Club. Penn aside, he also enjoys playing chess and poker and studying the applications of mathmatics in high frequency trading models in liquid markets.

Kevin Zhu - Chief Technology Officer

Kevin is a senior in Wharton, concentrating in Finance and Accounting. Like Ang, he was born in China but grew up in the awesome town of Plano, Texas. In his free time, he likes to watch & play football and basketball, keep up with "How I Met Your Mother", and dream about owning an Aston Martin, Maserati, or Bentley. One day, Kevin hopes to learn how to fly planes.

Abby Lee - Board Member

Abby is a senior and currently concentrating in Finance and Marketing at the Wharton School and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in SEAS while pursuing a Math minor. She is a member of the professional development committe in MUSE, a section editor for Penn Course Review, a researcher at the Philadelphia VAMC and a consultant for the startup firm HCPlexus. Outside of school and work, Abby enjoys following tennis and soccer, cooking and traveling abroad.
