First, China is the fastest growing economy in the world. Second, with more than 1 billion people, China is an important market into which global players would need to tap. Third, China is a major economic and political power in Asia, the movement of which will determine the future of the region.

Why the Career Program?

The Wharton China Career Program is the only university program that focuses on internships in the Greater China region. Students will gain first hand experience in working within the dynamic Chinese business environment. They will acquire the skills necessary for future job searches, and meet professionals and government officials who will help further their career development in China.

Students will also learn more about the rich Chinese culture and traditions, participate in social gatherings, and enrichment programs. For example, there are business etiquette classes, as well as Chinese food and beverage appreciation.

Finally, students will be able to join the network of graduating interns.
